In this volume, Titina Maselli, a leading figure in twentieth-century Italian art, tells her story as an artist and a person, as well as the context in which it unfolded, to Enrico Crispolti, Alberto Olivetti, and the students of the Graduate School of Art History at the University of Siena (January 1996). This conversation becomes an opportunity to evoke the great names of Italian and international culture from the 1920s to more recent years (Luigi, Fausto and Ninì Pirandello, Mario Labroca, Corrado Alvaro, Toti Scialoja, Weegee) and to unpack, along with Maselli herself, a number of ideas that are essential for a critical understanding of her work. In addition to the text and the images, the book contains a QR code to access the original audio recordings.
